POPSICLES Z BÍLÝCH BROSKVÍ, MALIN A MEDUŇKY

Nejsou příliš sladké a skvěle osvěží.

POPSICLES Z BÍLÝCH BROSKVÍ, MALIN A MEDUŇKY

INGREDIENCE

(6 ks)

2 bílé broskve

hrst malin

10 lístků meduňky

šťáva z 1 limetky

1 – 2  lžíce javorového sirupu

300 ml vody

Forma na nanuky a dřívka

POSTUP

Nejprve si připravíme nálev. Lístky meduňky zalijeme horkou vodou a necháme vylouhovat (asi 10 – 15 minut). Necháme vychladnout a přidáme šťávu z limetku a javorový sirup. Promícháme. Lístky meduňky můžeme vybrat, pokud by někomu vadily.

POPSICLES WITH WHITE PEACHES, RASPBERRIES AND LEMON BALM LEAVES

The temperatures of the last few days are giving us all a hard time. The mercury on the thermometer climbs to dizzying heights and we are all looking for a way to cool down and refresh. These homemade popsicles with pieces of fruit are the great choice.

To prepare them, I used white peaches and raspberries, which I poured with a infusion of lemon balm, lime and maple syrup. They are not too sweet and very refreshing.

INGREDIENTS

(6 pcs)

2 white peaches

a handful of raspberries

10 lemon balm leaves

juice of 1 lime

1 – 2  tablespoons of maple syrup

300 ml water

Mold for popsicles and sticks

INSTRUCTIONS

First, prepare the infusion. Pour the lemon balm leaves with hot water and leave infuse (about 10-15 minutes). Let cool and add lime juice and maple syrup. Mix together. You can remove the lemon balm leaves if you do not like them.

Prepare popsicle molds.

Wash the peaches, cut them in half, remove the stone and cut them into small pieces. Spread the pieces of peaches and raspberries evenly in the popsicle molds and pour over them the infusion. Insert sticks (or spoons). Let it freeze for at least 4-6 hours.

Before turning it out of the mold, it is good to let the popsicles loosen a little so that they are going easier from the molds.

Tip: This tip is for adults. These popsicles are also suitable for summer parties. Serve them in glasses and pour over the sparkling wine

MELOUNOVÝ SALÁT S MALINAMI A MEDUŇKOU

Kromě melounu v něm najdete maliny a meduňku (tu můžete nahradit i mátou).

MELOUNOVÝ SALÁT S MALINAMI A MEDUŇKOU

(Ingredience na 2 porce)

INGREDIENCE

500 g melounu

100 g malin

1 limetka

hrst čerstvé meduňky (používám citronovou)

1 lžíce javorového sirupu

POSTUP

Připravíme si zálivku. Limetku omyjeme, rozkrojíme a vymačkáme z ní šťávu.

Přendáme do mísy a přidáme maliny.

Přelijeme zálivkou a opatrně promícháme. Nakonec posypeme lístky meduňky. Před servírováním necháme trochu vychladit v lednici.

WATERMELON SALAD WITH RASPBERRIES AND LEMON BALM

Salads are a staple on my table in this warm weather. Vegetable, fruit, or a combination of both. Above all, they must be refreshing and juicy.

Last week I bought a melon cutter, I mean a ball cutter. I've always liked how fruit balls are cut into salads. It is one of the ways to make a salad a little more attractive and pleasing to the eye. In order to be able to train, I also bought a watermelon and prepared a salad, which I really like.

It's incredibly simple and only has a few ingredients. It can thus be a great substitute for dessert in the summer. In addition to watermelon, you will find raspberries and lemon balm in it (you can also replace it with mint). Everything is topped with a simple lime juice and maple syrup dressing. The slightly sour taste adds another taste to the sweet melon.

The preparation is so simple that I was wondering if I should add the recipe (perhaps you can't even call it like that) at all. But you know what, why not. At least, maybe it will be useful to someone as an inspiration.

INGREDIENTS

(makes 2 portions)

500 g watermelon

100 g raspberries

1 lime

a handful of fresh lemon balm

1 tablespoon maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the dressing. Wash the lime, cut it in half and squeeze the juice. Then mix it with maple syrup and torn lemon balm leaves in a small bowl.

Cut the watermelon into slices and cut the red pulp into cubes or you can make the balls (if you have a cutter). Transfer to a bowl and add raspberries.

Pour over the dressing and mix carefully. Finally, sprinkle with lemon balm leaves. Let it cool a little bit in the fridge before serving.

KIR ROYAL

KIR ROYAL

INGREDIENCE

(1 porce)

0,25 ml likéru z černého rybízu (crème de cassis)

15 cl sektu

ostružina na dozdobení

sklenice na sekt

POSTUP

Sklenice na sekt vychladíme.

Do vychlazené sklenice nalijeme nejprve likér. Poté začneme nalévat pozvolna sekt, aby se promíchal se sirupem. Nejlepší je dolévat jej až před přípitkem, aby bublinky nevyprchaly.

Dozdobíme ostružinou.

KIR ROYAL

I don't have many drink recipes on the blog. But I just have to share this inspiration here with you. It is such a light and refreshing (not only) summer drink that always transports me to my beloved France.

The Kir drink is a bit of a cocktail consisting of blackcurrant liqueur (crème de cassis) and dry white wine. If you want to enjoy it directly in France, you will find it mainly in Burgundy, where it comes from. It is the the priest, war hero and mayor of the city of Dijon, Canon Felix Kir, who invented it and so the drink is named after him. In other parts of France, you will not meet it so often, but there are exceptions.

Kir is mixed in a ratio of 1 part liquor to 10 parts wine. You can replace blackcurrant liqueur with peach or mulberry liqueur. All variants are excellent.

And if you want to improve the basic recipe a little more (like me), then enjoy a kir royal. Wine is replaced by sparkling wine, of course in case of France the Champagne is the best. But feel free to use any dry sparkling wine.

INGREDIENTS

(makes 1 glass)

0.25 ml blackcurrant liqueur (crème de cassis)

15 cl of sparkling wine

blackberry for decoration

Champagne glass

INSTRUCTIONS

Chill the Champagne glasses.

Pour the liqueur into the chilled glass first. After that, start pouring the sparkling wine slowly so that it mixes with the liqueur. It is best to top it up before the toast so that the bubbles do not evaporate.

Garnish with blackberries.
